How to build a mailing list
There are a few ways to capture your clients’ data, so you can add them to a mailing list. The easiest and most data-protection-friendly way is to have an embedded sign-up form on your website. Another way is to manually data input email addresses into an Excel .csv file and then upload into an email marketing platform. But you’ll need to make sure people are opted in to receive your emails or there’s a solid reason you are emailing them, e.g. clients.
When it comes to choosing an email newsletter platform, there are countless ones available, but we use MailerLite. It’s simple with a great pricing structure (free up to 1,000 contacts!), and you can create some eye-catching designs. It’s up to you how often you send out a newsletter, but we would recommend at least monthly.
